Crash on Highway 60 claims life of 95-year-old Cassville woman

A fatal crash near Neosho has claimed the life of an elderly woman from Cassville.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 95-year-old woman was going east on Highway 60, five miles west of Neosho, when she crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck head-on.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 34-year-old man from Neosho behind the wheel of the pickup suffered moderate injuries.

Their names have not been made publicly available.
