Joplin Council meeting tonight

The Joplin City Council receives a report tonight from the Capital Improvement Public Safety Sales Tax Oversight Committee.  

Mayor Keenan Cortez tells KZRG:

“And semi-annually they come to the city council and they say, hey, here’s the money that’s come in. Here’s the projects that we’ve done with those. Here’s a hands on, up close view of what’s all been done. So it’s really exciting stuff.”

The meeting starts tonight at 6 in the council chambers at Joplin city hall at 6th and main.
