Lawrence County man charged with child sex crimes

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Purdy, Missouri was taken into custody Thursday on several counts of alleged sex crimes.
William Dickerson, 24, was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a girl younger than age 14 in June of this years.
Dickerson faces the following charges:
- 1st degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape - person younger than14 years old
- Statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy – person younger than 14 years old
- Statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy – person younger than14 years old
Dickerson is being held without bond in the Lawrence County Jail.
