Zimmer Marketing’s Red, White, Sip and Shop Event to raise funds for veterans

JOPLIN, Mo. – On Saturday, the Joplin Greenhouse & The Coffee Shop parking lot will be transformed into a vibrant hub of community spirit, family fun, and patriotism as Zimmer Marketing is hosting its Red, White, Sip and Shop event.
The lively fundraiser is held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, bringing together local businesses, food vendors, and families to support Honor Flight of the Ozarks, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free trips for veterans to visit war memorials in Washington, D.C.
This year’s event, co-hosted with Joplin Greenhouse & the Coffee Shop and Food 4 Less, was built on the success of last year’s fundraiser, which raised an impressive $25,000. Determined to surpass that milestone, Zimmer Marketing expanded the event into a vendor-driven shopping extravaganza, featuring over 75 local boutiques and businesses. Attendees can enjoy a diverse array of shopping opportunities, from fashion and accessories to wellness services like Botox and mini tattoos.
The event was far more than a shopping spree. Food trucks will delight attendees with a variety of culinary offerings, while bounce houses and face painting will keep children entertained.
The Red, White, Sip and Shop event is aimed to push the fundraising efforts even further. To continue to donate to Honor Flight of the Ozarks, there is a QR code to scan at each booth as well as a Zimmer Marketing booth that offers other ways to donate. You can also donate here: https://honor.zimmer.marketing/.
Honor Flight of the Ozarks, the beneficiary of the event, organizes all-expenses-paid trips for veterans from Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas to visit memorials honoring their service, including those for World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Shield/Desert Storm. The organization’s mission resonates deeply in the Ozarks, where community support for veterans runs strong.
Zimmer Marketing’s partnership with Honor Flight of the Ozarks has a storied history of success. Over the years, their radiothons and events have raised tens of thousands of dollars, with Thursday’s radiothon alone collecting over $28,000.
