You are invited to June 26 Open House to learn more about Prospect Village development

You are invited to an open house about the Prospect Village development at Joplin City Hall Thursday, June 26th, inside the council chambers from 4 PM to 6 PM.

Joplin City Manager Nick Edwards tells Newstalk KZRG, the purpose of the meeting is:

“To gather questions or comments from the public about the development, address any issues that might exist regarding the sports complex. We plan to show some renderings and some layouts and get some feedback from the community. Public input is important. We want to make sure that we have a top notch facility and are maximizing the development as best we can.”

Woodsonia Real Estate, Inc., the project developer, will host the Public Open House on Thursday, June 26.

This come-and-go meeting will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (5th floor) of City Hall, 602 S. Main Street.

The multi-use development will be constructed near 20th Street and Range Line Road.

“It’s been exciting to put this together and visit with the stakeholders about this incredible project, which will bring multiple generations together to enjoy sports, recreation, and retail,” said Drew Snyder, Woodsonia Developer. “As a mixed-use development, it will also offer housing opportunities, and all are centrally located in Joplin.”
