Celebrate Neosho returns with music, food, family fun and fireworks.

“Our annual Celebrate Neosho event is coming back this year and it will be on Saturday, June 28th in downtown Neosho. So we will have live music, lots of free activities, and paid activities. We’ll have some community booths, a car show, and then we’ll also have some special contests going on. So watermelon seed spitting contest, a balance bike race, cutest dog contest, and a kiddie tractor pull, along with lots of local vendors and restaurants that will be open around the square. And then we’ll end the night around 9:30 with fireworks in the park.”
Here are the event highlights:
Live Music Performances:
- 4:15–5:30 p.m. – Mike Snow & Justin Caubill
- 5:45–7:00 p.m. – Rebecca Hawkins Project
- 7:15–8:30 p.m. – The Lost Dogs
Activities:
- Free activities include bounce houses, water slides, giant sandbox, and cornhole
- Activities for a fee include pony rides, kiddie train, bungee jump, giant swing
- Community booths featuring kid’s fingerprinting, dunk tank, bubble activity, and water gun war
- Car Show hosted by Flagship Auto Group
Special Contests:
- 5:00 p.m. – Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest
- 5:00 p.m. – Balance Bike Race (ages 2–4; pre-registration required)
- 6:00 p.m. – Cutest Dog Contest (35lbs and under, 36lbs and up)
- 6:30 p.m. – Kiddie Tractor Pull (ages 3-8)
Food and Drink Vendors:
Attendees can enjoy offerings from over 15 local vendors and restaurants, including: WH Farm Café, Sierra’s Chuck Wagon, Donut NV, Buffalo Creek BBQ, Song Bird’s Kitchen, Queen Bee Concessions, B & N Concession, and Los Chilangos Food Truck.
