Connect 2 Culture holding their Liberty Celebration.  

Executive Director Emily Frankoski tells Newstalk KZRG:

“And this year, the admission is free and open to the public. And we’ve got great music. We’ve got three bluegrass bands, No Apparent Reason, The Vogts Sisters and ROUTE 3, as well as food trucks, lawn games, and even a fireworks finale.”

Starts at 6 PM on Saturday, June 28th at the Leggett & Platt Green on the south side of the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex at 7th and Joplin Street.

Liberty Celebration! is Connect2Culture’s annual patriotic performance on the last Saturday before the Fourth of July. 

Designed to ignite excitement and pride ahead of Independence Day, this annual event brings the community together through music, celebration, and a shared love for our country. 

This year’s celebration will feature bluegrass music from No Apparent Reason, The Vogts Sisters, and ROUTE 3, as well as food trucks, lawn games, and a firework finale!

Free and open to the public; complimentary chairs available.
