Southern Missouri man pleads guilty to stealing railroad equipment

Stealing railroad property may be a one-way-ticket to jail for a mid-Missouri man.

21 year old Jesse Henry, from Laclede county, admitted to 33 thefts of railroad equipment across Missouri and Illinois, causing one point five million dollars in damages.

The U-S Attorney's office says he would break into those shacks that you see along the tracks.

He would steal just about anything he found inside the shack, even selling a crossing controller, leaving the system broken, where the stop arm stayed down, causing obstacles for drivers.

Henry faces up to 20 years in prison
