The Missouri Senate has passed two special session bills to help disaster victims.
Holcomb Senator Jason Bean is leading the effort to provide 25-million dollars in emergency housing aid and 100-million for disaster relief.
Bean told Newstalk KZRG: “I think we're seeing something that we usually don't see - is this is almost statewide. I mean from Saint Louis down to, you know, Springfield and over, you know. I think once again we need to realize people have been living within shelters. They've been living in other homes for some time.”
The bills go to the House for more work.
