KZRG, Zimmer Marketing walk away from MBA Awards with plenty of hardware

The Missouri Broadcasters Association held its annual awards ceremony on Saturday, and Zimmer Marketing was well represented.

The MBA Awards are presented at a banquet during a weekend convention with more than 900 total entries over 30 categories being submitted from members. Awards are given for first and second place.

NewsTalk KZRG came away with four first-place awards and three second-place awards, while KIX 102.5 took first in two categories and Big Dog 97.9 added a first-place recognition as well.

KZRG’s first-place awards consist of Breaking News Coverage, Hard News Reporting, Sports Reporting and Commercial Announcement, while taking second in Feature Reporting, Newscast and Sports Reporting.

KIX took first for Use of Digital Media and Promotion, while Big Dog took first for Social Media Star.
