Food Truck Friday is back in Carthage

Carthage Tourism Director, Melissa Little, told the KZRG Morning Newswatch of a special event happening Friday, May 9th:

“Food truck Friday is 11 to 9. So you can come, bring your co-workers, have lunch, have a picnic in the park and then come back for dinner. Come back for snacks, stay a while, bring your kids. The park in April was full. I estimated about 5,000 people there.”

Food Truck Friday will happen at the park at Garrison and Central in Carthage.

Little went on to say:

“Bring your lawn chair. Just sit down, relax. We got all the food for you. We have food from sweets to savory to drinks. We’ve got root beer floats. We have cream soda tin Lizzies and Tombstone beverage is gonna be there. Oh, my salty sloth’s gonna be there, man. Just you have to check out our Facebook page to see all of the great vendors that are going to be in attendance for May.”
