State Senator Jill Carter tells KZRG about where the Missouri Budget is in the state senate

The Missouri state budget is now in the state senate for debate.
State senator Jill Carter telling Newstalk KZRG:
“We have a $50 billion budget. I think some of the differences between the House and the senator is deficit spending and extending those tax cuts. And so that’s, I think, where a lot of the deliberation is happening. Also, the governor’s priorities, the House stripped a lot of those out. The Senate Appropriations Committee put a lot of those back in. So, I think we’re planning on doing the budget Thursday, this week, finishing that conference committee. So we’ll see how we all land.”
State Senator Jill Carter was on the KZRG Morning Newswatch.
