Drive-By Shooting Under Investigation in Frontenac Frontenac, Kansas – On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at approximately 10:15 PM, officers from the Frontenac Police Department and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a drive-by shooting in the 800 block of North Cayuga Street.

Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and initiated a thorough investigation. Evidence was collected at the location, and investigators are actively following up on multiple leads. Fortunately, no injuries were reported at this time. The suspect or suspects remain unidentified.

The suspect vehicle has been described as a dark-colored Chevrolet Avalanche.

The Frontenac Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone in the area with residential or commercial security cameras is asked to review their footage from 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM on May 4 for any suspicious activity or images of the suspect vehicle.
