Fatal UTV accident in Mulberry, Kansas early Saturday morning

On May 3, 2025 at approximately 01:44, emergency personnel were alerted to a crash with unknown injuries in the area of 14th and Military in Mulberry.

Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office, along with Mulberry Fire and EMS responded to the scene, assisted by the Arma and Arcadia Police Departments.

Upon arrival, a UTV was located with a single occupant.

Evidence from the scene showed that the UTV was traveling westbound and had left the roadway and struck a tree.

The occupant, identified as Jacob Kale, 26 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will be performed, as is the standard procedure for fatality crashes.
