Blue Buffalo, Wal-Mart cover adoption fees at Best Friends Pet Resource Center

On Wednesday, April 30, get ready for a night of festivities at the Blue Buffalo Adoption Event at the Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Bentonville, Arkansas

The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at  the Center at 1312 Melissa Drive in Bentonville.

For the second year in a row, this special event – appropriately held on National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day – promises to be loads of fun for people, as well as for adoptable pets eagerly awaiting loving homes.

At this free event, Blue Buffalo and Best Friends Animal Society are teaming up to provide a good time for the community and shine a light on the importance of adopting pets from local shelters and rescue groups.

Attendees will enjoy drinks and appetizers, music from DJ Brock Short, a dog treat bar, personalized caricatures of pets and people, pet tag making, adoption kit stuffing stations, and much more.

Plus, there will be tons of opportunities to meet adorable, adoptable dogs and cats – and maybe even bring home a new best friend, with pet adoption fees covered by Blue Buffalo and Walmart.

But the fun won’t stop when the party shuts down – this event will kick off National Pet Month at Walmart stores nationwide in May. Purchases of select Blue Buffalo products at Walmart will trigger a donation, which will help cover adoption fees at all Best Friends Animal Society locations, including the Pet Resource Center in Northwest Arkansas.

The Best Friends Pet Resource Center is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The BLUE Story Is a Family Story

Blue Buffalo™ started with a promise made to an Airedale named Blue whose family wanted to feed him the best pet food possible. After searching for high-quality options, they decided to create their own food using natural ingredients, real meat first, and some of the highest standards in the industry. That promise still drives us to seek out the healthiest ways to feed and nurture pets — it lives on every time you fill your pet’s bowl with BLUE.
