NWS finds two tornadoes rolled through the area Sunday

The National Weather Service has conducted its damage surveys from the storms Sunday afternoon.
A National Weather Service Survey team determined a tornado tracked from eastern Cherokee County, KS, through western Jasper County, MO, including through the city of Carl Junction where EF-1 damage occurred. This is a preliminary track and could be updated if further data is received.
