High speed pursuit moves from Bourbon County to Vernon County; two in custody

PRESERVED_BLOCK_1In a Facebook post, the Vernon County Sheriff's office reports it was contacted by Bourbon County Sheriff's office in regards to a high-speed pursuit.

The  pursuit came into Vernon County where deputies were able to pursue the vehicle until the the pursuit ended in flood water

Three subjects in the vehicle fled on foot. Deputies have been able to take two people into custody the third subject was able to elude the deputies.

The Vernon County Sheriff's office said, "There is no threat to the citizens from the third subject to our knowledge."

Multiple narcotics and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the stolen vehicle. The Nevada Police Department provided assistance.
