Area Agency on Aging Senior Expo April 10th in Joplin

On the KZRG Morning Newswatch, Charlotte Foust from the Area Agency on Aging discussed vital services for seniors in the community. 

According to Foust, the agency's primary focus is on managing nutrition programs and homebound meal services across four counties, funded primarily by the Older Americans Act and various fundraising efforts. 

She highlighted the upcoming first-ever Senior Expo on Thursday, April 10th at the Joplin Senior Center. 

It is aimed at showcasing resources available to seniors and raising funds for meal programs, which has attracted 47 participating organizations. 

The expo will last from 3 to 6 PM.  

It is free to area seniors.
