Missing man's remains found near Columbus, Kansas

Human remains found in southeast Kansas appear to be that of a man who was reported missing in December of 2023.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says they got a call about the remains on Sunday, just west of Columbus.

Authorities say they belong to 19-year-old Jaden Santini, who was last seen by his family on November 30, 2023, then reported missing a few days later.

Investigators say foul play is not suspected but their investigation into the cause of his death continues.
