Carl Junction, MO - Carl Junction High School sophomore Carson Sprouls has been invited to participate in the prestigious Missouri Scholars Academy.

This highly selective, three-week academic program will take place on the University of Missouri campus from June 8 through June 28, 2025, and brings together some of the brightest students in the state for an enriching academic and social experience.

Missouri Scholars Academy selects students based on school nominations, which consider academic achievement, standardized test scores, and attributes such as leadership, creativity, and intellectual curiosity.

The program provides scholars with a diverse curriculum emphasizing the liberal arts, along with a variety of extracurricular activities, including recreation, photography, and chorus.

Scholars also attend engaging lectures, concerts, and theatrical performances throughout their time at the academy.
