Probationary IRS workers could find their jobs first on the chopping block

Probationary employees at the IRS in Kansas City getting notice their jobs might be disappearing.

The Beacon out of KC is reporting that IRS employees learned in a Feb. 18th video communication, their jobs could be the first to be eliminated by the Trump Administration.

The story quotes one worker who is in that probationary period looking ahead to not having a job and worrying about making the bills at the end of the month.

That anonymous worker says she doesn’t believe most people realize the human toll of the layoffs.

She says she’s afraid that in the new epoch, government safety net programs to help people who are out of work will also go away.
