Several events at Pittsburg State University canceled due to weather

Pittsburg State University will be closed on Tuesday in anticipation of inclement weather.
Several events slated for this this week have been postponed or canceled. They include:
Feb. 19: The ConnecteED Summit planned for superintendents, school district leaders, and educators from across the region to learn about the new Blueprint for Literacy has been canceled.
The meeting scheduled for Feb. 28 still is planned from 9 a.m. to noon at Block22 in Downtown Pittsburg. We’ll send an updated agenda prior to the meeting.
Feb. 19: The art reception for Kathryn Combs in the Porter Hall art gallery has been canceled.
Feb. 20: The annual Teacher Interview Day, which annually brings together education majors and those in teaching-related fields with representatives from school districts from several states, has been postponed until March 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Plaster Center.
Friday activities still on:
Feb. 21: The 2025 Four State HRD Four-State Conference for regional HR professionals still is a “go” from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Overman Student Center.
Feb. 21: The demonstration of the reprinting of the Little Blue Books also is still a go from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Porter Hall Room 201.
