Burlison on Unplug EV’s Act and DOGE finding fraud

In a recent News interview on the KZRG Morning Newswatch, U.S. Representative Eric Burleson discussed the reintroduction of the Unplug EVs Act aimed at rescinding 8 billion dollars in funding for electric vehicle charging stations. 

He also addressed issues of government waste, identifying approximately 2 trillion lost or stolen over the last decade through DOGE, with specific focus on fraud linked to COVID-19 relief measures and international criminal networks. 

Burleson highlighted ongoing clawback initiatives targeting unspent funds, including FEMA and EPA efforts. 

Action items include Burleson’s commitment to advance the Unplug EVs Act and a call for the Trump administration to review clawback measures across agencies.
