Governor Mike Kehoe has issued an executive order ahead of the winter storm heading towards Missouri.
The order activates the Missouri National Guard for state and local response efforts during the winter storm if needed.
It also waives certain service requirements for commercial transport vehicles for residential heating fuel.
As a precaution, drivers are encouraged to postpone travel if possible.
If travel is necessary, do so with extreme caution and check MODOT’s online traveler information map to check if the trip can be completed safely.
