Bank robbery in Junction City, Kansas

PRESERVED_BLOCK_1The F.BI. reports a bank robbery Friday afternoon in Junction City, Kansas. The robbery took place at about 4:30 p.m. at the Sunflower Bank at 510 N. Jefferson Street in Junction City. An unidentified male suspect entered the bank, brandished a firearm and made a demand for cash. The suspect, whose face was covered, fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. No injuries were reported. The crime remains under investigation.
