Fatal crash reported in Delaware County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal crash in Delaware County.

The OHP says a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 20-year-old Thomas Charles Potts went off Scenic Highway 412 on Friday around 2:16 a.m.

Potts was ejected from the car and a passenger, 19-year-old Jacob Aaron Cole was partially ejected.

Both were taken to the hospital where Potts was pronounced dead.

Cole is stable with internal injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
