Missouri American Water to present $25k check recognizing the Creative Learning Alliance
Missouri American Water, in collaboration with American Water Charitable Foundation, will present a $25,000 check, recognizing the Creative Learning Alliance.
The presentation will take place at 300 Main Street in Joplin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
The American Water Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a formal way to demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to be a good neighbor, citizen, and contributor to the communities where American Water and its employees live, work and operate.
The Workforce Readiness/STEM Education grant is part of the American Water Charitable Foundation’s Keep Communities Flowing Grant Program, focusing on three pillars of giving: Water, People and Communities.
Funding will be used to purchase the ‘Bubble Monster Exhibit’— a hands-on creative experience applying both water and the principles of physics.
