Joplin Memorial Hall to be discussed at tonight's City Council Meeting

Memorial Hall is one of the main items on tonight’s agenda at the Joplin City Council meeting tonight .  Mayor Keenan Cortez told Newstalk KZRG

We're going to be talking about Memorial Hall. We've got a couple things to discuss. We've got a public-private partnership that could materialize in our community to refurbish and save more and bring some events to it. And we're also going to talk about in the event of its demolition, what it might look like, on that site. We have some plans that we've received from an organization for the design phase of the Memorial Park. The Veterans Memorial Park.”

The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall at 602 S. Main in Joplin.
