Joplin Christmas Parade Grand Marshal is Paula Baker

“Winter Wonderland” is the theme for this years Joplin Christmas Parade.  Freeman Health System has been organizing the parade for the last 10 years.  Joplin Mayor Keenan Cortez told Newstalk KZRG:  

“I'm also honored today to announce the Grand Marshal of the event. And she happens to be standing with me today. Paula Baker will serve as the Grand Marshal for this year's annual Christmas parade. Paula has been President and CEO of Freeman health system for 13 years.”

Freeman’s Paula Baker is excited about the parade:  

“I love the fact that there is such a vibe of just festiveness and everyone's so excited about the parade, and then the entries, we see the bands and we see the floats, and it's just really exhilarating.”

The Christmas parade will  be Tuesday night, December 3rd starting at 6 in downtown Joplin.
