No-excuse absentee voting begins today for Missouri’s primary election.
Voters can cast an absentee ballot in-person without an excuse at their local election office.
A government-issued photo ID is required to vote absentee in person.
No excuse absentee voting is allowed until the day before the election. The primary election is on August 6th.
Some of the major races on the ballot include Missouri candidates running for governor, state treasurer, attorney general, secretary of state, U.S. Congressional seats, and U.S. Senator.
Several seats are also up for grabs in the Missouri House and Senate.
