MODot says motorists should expect north and southbound I-49 lane closures between Highland Avenue and the bridges over the railroad in Nevada from 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. Saturday - Friday, July 20-26
What: Contractor crews to add a high-friction pavement treatment at various locations to help improve traction at curves. This work is part of a project to add a high-friction pavement treatment to selected curves on various routes in McDonald, Stone, Taney & Vernon Counties. The prime contractor is the Truesdell Corporation, Camdenton.
Traffic Impacts:
- North and southbound I-49 lane clsoures between Highland Avenue and the bridges over the railroad in Nevada
- I-49 is OPEN
- Drivers will encounter lane closures and flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
- No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
