Rider killed in cycle-pickup truck accident in Webster County

One person was killed a motorcycle-pickup truck collision Friday evening on Missouri 38 in Marshfield in Webster County.
The Highway Patrol says a Ford F-150 pickup truck was turning east onto the highway when it was struck in the driver's side by an westbound Yamaha motorcycle.
Both vehicles burst into flames.
The motorcycle rider, 29-year-old Alexander L. Reed of Elkland, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup truck driver, 38-year-old Timothy M. Stuart of Mansfield, had only minor injuries.
He was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
