Several power outages linger in Joplin area

Were you impacted by the storm this morning? 

Roughly 1,200 customers in the Joplin area were without power at some point this morning, according to the Liberty Utilities website, due to the high winds brought on by the severe weather that rolled through in the early morning hours.

Many people are still without power, but Liberty is out working on those issues.
