Dade County man found guilty of child sex crimes

A man from Greenfield, Missouri, has been found guilty of child sex crimes.

63-year-old Earl Purgerson was convicted of one count of first degree statutory sodomy and one count of third degree child molestation for crimes he committed against a 12-year-old girl in 2018.

Purgerson faces up to life in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for July 23.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey assisted the prosecutor in the case.
