Accident on M-39 at Miller in Lawrence County injures two

Two South Greenfield residents were injured in a Thursday afternoon crash on M-39 at Miller in Lawrence County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a northbound 2002 Ford F-350 pickup driven by 69-year-old Keith A. Lutton of South Greenfield traveled off the roadway and smashed into a tree.
Lutton suffered moderate injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Springfield Mercy Hospital.
A passenger, 62-year-old Debera J. Lutton of South Greenfield, was airlifted to the same hospital.
She was listed in serious condition.
