Liberal, Missouri rider escapes nearly unscathed after high-speed dirt bike crash

A dirt bike rider narrowly escaped serious injury  Sunday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened at NW 40th Road, about four miles west of Liberal, Missouri.

33-year old Mark Troit was riding an RPS 250 Dirt Bike that made a left turn at a high rate of speed and went out of control.

Troit was taken by ambulance to Barton County Hospital in Lamar.
