Getting less done in Jefferson City during regular legislative session

The Missouri House and Senate have ended this year's session with fewer bills going to the Governor to be signed into law.

Neosho state representative Ben Baker told Newstalk KZRG:

“Each year, since I started 6 years ago, we seem to get less and less done.  Mostly because of the infighting that has continued to happen, especially in the senate, that turns so personal.  And when it becomes about personality rather than policy, then everyone loses.”
