Scooter goes off the road and overturns; woman from Liberal seriously injured

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a serious scooter accident.

This one happened on Highway 126 about 16 miles east of Lamar just after 6 p.m. Saturday evening.

The Highway Patrol says 58-year-old Anna M. Peaslee of Liberal, Missouri was riding a 2016 Taoi Scooter that went off the right side of the highway.

It overturned and ejected her causing her serious injuries.

She was taken taken by MedFlight to Mercy-Joplin hospital.
