Teenage driver injured in Miller motorcycle accident

A 16-year-old boy was injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 39 inside Miller in Lawrence County just after 2:30 Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report says the accident happened when the juvenile had to break to avoid an accident and laid his southbound 2015 Honda VT-1300 down in the road.

The cycle then overturned with the driver on it.

The youth suffered moderate injuries.

He was taken to Cox Hospital in Springfield.
