New Southeast Kansas music and arts festival series kicks off in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Half Way Home Music and Arts Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the band dome in Pittsburg’s Lincoln Park. Tickets are $10 each and will be sold on site that day, with a portion of the proceeds going to the revitalization of the J.J. Richards Band Shell, Kansas Free For Arts, and various arts and culture projects throughout the region.

Performers are Radkey (hard rock), The Sound and the Fury (hard rock), Godzillionaire (alternative), Fast Food Junkies (bluegrass), Cat Rodeo (country), The Big Sky (Americana), and The Bonnie Situation (90’s covers).

Gates open on June 8 at Lincoln Park in Pittsburg at 11 a.m. The show starts at 12 p.m. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs. Please, no coolers, backpacks, or firearms. Food trucks will be on site.
