Governor Parson announces schedule for May 13 – 18

Parson, First Lady to leave for Italy next Saturday

(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) – This week, Governor Mike Parson will attend several meetings and events and on Saturday, will leave for a trade mission to Italy. 

On MondayMay 13, Governor and First Lady Parson will begin the day hosting Administrative Law Judges for a luncheon at the Governor’s Mansion. Governor Parson will then return to his office to present a Certificate of Recognition to Staff Sergeant Rachel Tozier, a native Missourian and current member of the U.S. Army, who recently qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in Women’s Trap. He will then host a meet and greet with Hickman High School’s Ethics Bowl team to congratulate them on winning the National Ethics Bowl Championship. 

On TuesdayMay 14, Governor Parson will host a meet and greet in his office with members of the Smith-Cotton JROTC, congratulating them on their recent success at the 2024 Army National Championships. Governor and First Lady Parson will then host Faith Leaders at the Governor’s Mansion for their monthly Faith luncheon. Governor Parson will then return to his office to host a meet and greet with the Class 3 State Champion Hannibal Wrestling Team. He will end the day by participating in the Jefferson City School District’s groundbreaking ceremony for its new Early Childhood Center. 

On WednesdayMay 15, Governor Parson will travel to Conway to speak to students at Laclede County
R-1 High School about state government, the U.S. Constitution, and what it means to be the Governor of Missouri.

On SaturdayMay 18, Governor and First Lady Parson will embark on a trade mission to Italy to attract new business opportunities to Missouri.
