Iverson to serve as interim superintendent for Miami Public Schools

In Miami, assistant superintendent Keni Iverson will be serving in the Miami School district's top administrative position for the remainder of the year.

Iverson, appointed as interim superintendent, replaces Nick Highsmith who resigned earlier this month after coming under fire for several issues.

The Miami District plans to begin the search for a permanent replacement for Highsmith on July 1st, according to a spokesman for the school.
