One person killed, one hospitalized after Friday afternoon shooting in Greenfield

Two people suffered gunshot wounds in Greenfield in Dade County Friday afternoon.

One reportedly died. The other was taken by air to a healthcare facility.

The gunfire reportedly took place in the area of a home in Greenfield and close to a nearby supermarket.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control and the Dade County Sheriff’s Office are the investigating agencies.

There is no word yet on the identify of the person killed or the condition of the victim hospitalized.
