Three teenage boys suffer minor injuries in Saturday night crash
Three juvenile males from Carthage suffered minor injuries in a crash around 10:18 p.m. on Saturday night on North Elmwood drive, about a mile north of Joplin.
The Missouri State Highway Traffic Crash report says the accident occurred when a northbound 2010 Nissan Altima, driven by a 22-year-old, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a parked vehicle which then struck a 14-year-old male pedestrian who suffered minor injuries.
A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy who were occupants in the parked 2014 Honda Pilot also hand minor injuries. All three juveniles were from Carthage.
They were taken by ambulance to a Joplin hospital.
The Altima driver was not injured.
