Party in the Park for Prevention slated for Saturday, April 20th

Joplin, MO –  Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri will host a Party in the Park for Prevention in Joplin’s Landreth Park from 12 noon  to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

Food, fun and activities for kids and families will be provided by Color me Crazy, Balloon Guyz, 808 Bounce, The Swanky Frank, Joplin Police Department and Joplin Fire Department.

The goal is to protect children by preventing child abuse.

Resources available will include finger printing services, Access Family Care, Boys & Girls Club, Jasper County CASA, Jasper County Children’s Division, Joplin Area Community Coalition, Joplin Health Department, Lafayette House, Choices, RAPHA International and The Alliance of Southwest Missouri.

The Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri is a Child Advocacy Center committed to delivering excellence in responding to child abuse by uniting professionals and providing a safe place to find hope and healing.
