Vinita man charged with assault resulting in bodily injury in Indian Country

37-year-old Dustin Colby Phillips of Vinita  has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in Northern Oklahoma.

Phillips, a member of the Cherokee Nation, is charged with assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Indian County.

The FBI and the Vinita Police Department are the investigative agencies. Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen J. Flynn is prosecuting the case.
