Lamar woman injured in single-vehicle accident

A woman from Lamar was injured at 11:24 Friday morning on Highway D 9 miles north of Lockwood in a single-vehicle accident.

The crash happened when a westbound 2021 Ford Bronco driven by 26-year-old Krissy J. Mann failed to stop at a stop sign, traveled through an intersection, then down a driveway and struck a set of steps and a storm shelter.

Mann suffered moderate injuries.

She was taken to a Joplin hospital for treatment.
