City Council to hold work session Monday evening

The City Council of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will hold a work session beginning at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, March 11 in the 5th Floor Council Chambers at 602 S. Main Street.

Items on the agenda include a Broadband Internet service provider discussion.

Members also will hear  a presentation on Strategic Roadmap for Economic Development in Joplin focused on Healthcare, Health Sciences, and Associated Educational Assets.

They also will hear a presentation about a critical illness program for the Fire Department.
