Fallen officers remembered on second anniversary of fatal injuries

The memory, service and ultimate sacrifice of Joplin Police Department Corporal Ben Cooper and Officer Jake Reed are being remembered today. The two officers were fatally injured on March 8th, 2022 while serving their community.

Their names have been forever etched in the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall, a permanent reminder for generations to come of the selflessness and courage demonstrated by them for others.
