Accident near Springfield injures three, two from Joplin

An accident on Norton Road at the NW Springfield city limits caused injuries to three people around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, two from Joplin.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Angela D. Escobar of Joplin crossed the centerline and struck the front of a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Andrew D. Gaddy of Willard.

Both cars traveled off the right side of the roadway.

Angela Escobar had moderate injuries.  A passenger in her vehicle, 36-year-old Alura Escobar of Joplin, and Gaddy had minor injuries.

They were treated at hospitals in Springfield.
